Liverpool take on Maribor in the Champions League this evening.

Liverpool starting line-up: Karius; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Lovren, Moreno; Milner, Wijnaldum, Can; Salah, Coutinho, Firmino.

Liverpool substitutes: Mignolet, Gomez, Klavan, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Solanke, Sturridge.

Liverpool are back in Champions League action this evening as they travel to Slovenia to take on Maribor…

The Reds have drawn both of their Champions League matches so far, opening with a 2-2 draw at home to Sevilla before drawing 1-1 away at Spartak Moscow last time out.

Jurgen Klopp’s men are back on the road again tonight, and will be looking to get back to winning ways having drawn 0-0 at home with Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.

As was the case against Spartak, Loris Karius starts in goal in place of Simon Mignolet, with Trent Alexander-Arnold coming into the back four alongside Joel Matip, Dejan Lovren and Alberto Moreno.

James Milner starts in midfield, joining Emre Can and Georgino Wijnaldum in the engine room, with Jordan Henderson left on the bench tonight.

That leaves Mohamed Salah and Philippe Coutinho out wide, supporting lone striker Roberto Firmino, with Sadio Mane out through injury again.

Mignolet and Henderson are both named on the Liverpool bench, alongside Joe Gomez, Ragnar Klavan, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Dominic Solanke and Daniel Sturridge.
