Here is how Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund will line up this weekend:
Liverpool welcome Borussia Dortmund to Anfield tonight in a huge Europa League clash.
The quarter-final tie is finely poised at 1-1 after the first leg, when Divock Origi’s strike was cancelled out by German international Mats Hummels. However, the young Belgian’s away goal could prove vital if the Reds manage to keep the visitors at bay.
That will be easier said than done considering how impressive the free-scoring Bundesliga club have been so far this season, but Liverpool are quickly improving under manager Jurgen Klopp and this will be a test of just how far they have come in a few short months.
Liverpool will know they can reach the Champions League next season if they are ultimately triumphant in this competition, but Dortmund are many people’s favourites for a reason.
The Anfield crowd will play a vital role this evening and it could go down as yet another famous European night at this wonderful old stadium.
