Mick McCarthy’s Ipswich Town and Thomas Christiansen’s Leeds United will face each other in the Championship this afternoon.

Leeds United will be looking to return to winning ways this afternoon when they take on Ipswich Town away from home in the Championship.
The West Yorkshire will head into the match against Ipswich at Portman Road on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Newport County away from home at Rodney Parade in the third round of the FA Cup.
It was an embarrassing performance and result for Leeds, who played out a goalless draw with Nottingham Forest at Elland Road in the Championship on Monday, January 1.

Thomas Christiansen’s side are sixth in the Championship table at the moment with 43 points from 26 matches.
Meanwhile, Ipswich currently find themselves 12th in the league table with 36 points from 26 matches.
Mick McCarthy’s side are not entirely out of the running for the playoff spots and can still sneak into the top four.
