Aston Villa play host to Brentford in the Championship tonight, and both sides will be confident in their chances of taking all three points away from the game, having started their respective campaigns with two wins and a draw from their opening three league games.

Steve Bruce’s Villa side seem to have been given a new lease of life since the club’s recent takeover, and they are being heavily tipped for promotion to the Premier League this season.

Dean Smith’s Brentford, meanwhile, have flown in more under the radar than their more illustrious counterparts, but they arguably play some of the best football in the entire division.

The Bees can actually go top tonight if they win by two clear goals, whilst Villa would have to win my a margin of four to reach the Championship’s summit.

The game kicks off tonight at 19:45, and fans of both clubs will be expecting a good game of football on display at Villa Park.
