Leicester City host Club Brugge tonight in their Champions League Group G fixture.

Leicester starting line-up: Zieler, Fuchs, Huth, Morgan (c), Simpson, Drinkwater, King, Mahrez, Albrighton, Vardy, Okazaki.

Leicester substitutes: Hamer, Gray, Hernandez, Amartey, Schlupp, Musa, Ulloa.

The Foxes are without a whole host of first-team stars due to injury tonight, with Leonardo Ulloa, Islam Slimani, Kasper Schmeichel, Nampalys Mendy and Ben Chilwell al missing out.

Claudio Ranieri’s men have struggled to live up to last season’s incredible performance levels on the domestic front this term, but they have been magnificent in their debut season in the Champions League.

A draw tonight against the Belgian outfit will be enough to see Leicester qualify for the knock-out stages of the Champions League, which would represent a fantastic effort, considering their inexperience at this level.

The Foxes have channeled some of their magnificent league form from last season into their continental performances this term, and are still yet to concede a goal in the Champions League – one of only two side’s left in the competition whose defence is still yet to be breached.

Qualification through to the last 16 of the Champions League would see Leicester fully announce themselves on the European stage, and signify just how far they have come in the last year.

The game kicks off tonight at 19:45 and can be seen live on BT Sport 3.
