Leeds United host Ipswich Town at Elland Road this afternoon as Garry Monk’s men look to continue their improved recent form.

The Whites have won three of their last five games in the Championship, whilst they also beat Blackburn in the EFL Cup in midweek as Monk begins to settle in at Elland Road.

Today, Monk has gone with 20-year-old prospect Kalvin Phillips in midfield alongside Eunan O’Kane, just a week after Ronaldo Vieira had partnered O’Kane against Cardiff.

The impressive centre back partnership of Pontus Jansson and Kyle Bartley start again, whilst Pablo Hernandez, Stuart Dallas and Hadi Sacko will support Chris Wood in attack.

Kemar Roofe is only on the bench despite an improved display against Blackburn in midweek, along with the likes of Liam Cooper, Alex Mowatt and Marcus Antonsson, with captain Liam Bridcutt still out through injury despite hopes he could be involved today.

Meanwhile, Ipswich start former Leeds midfielder Jonathan Douglas in the middle of the park, whilst Leicester City loanee Tom Lawrence will be key in the final third.

The likes of Grant Ward, Freddie Sears and Brett Pitman also start, whilst talented youngster Andre Dozzell and striker Leon Best are both on the bench for the Tractor Boys this afternoon.
