Leeds United starting XI: Meslier; Ayling, Llorente, Cooper, Dallas; Struijk, Klich, Roberts; Raphinha, Harrison, Bamford.
Leeds United substitutes: Casilla, Alioski, Cresswell, Casey, Costa, Jenkins, Huggins, Hernandez, Gelhardt.
Southampton starting XI: McCarthy; Bednarek, Salisu, Vestergaard, Bertrand; Romeu, Ward-Prowse; Armstrong, Tella; Redmond, Adams.
Southampton substitutes: Forster, Ramsay, Stephens, Jankewitz, Chauke, Minamino, Djenepo, Nlundulu, Ings.
Leeds go with Illan Meslier in goal tonight, though it’s unclear whether they will be going with a 3-3-1-3 or 4-3-3 system.
For now, we’ll guess at the latter, with a back four of Luke Ayling, Diego Llorente, Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas across defence.
That would then see Pascal Struijk sit in front of defence, with Mateusz Klich and Tyler Roberts giving more freedom to go forward.
Raphinha and Jack Harrison start out wide as usual, with Patrick Bamford leading the line for the Whites.
If it’s a 3-3-1-3, it would surely be a back three of Llorente, Cooper and Struijk, Klich in front of defence, Dallas and Ayling as wing backs with Roberts supporting Raphinha, Harrison and Bamford.
Jamie Shackleton isn’t involved at all, with Kiko Casilla, Ezgjan Alioski, Charlie Cresswell, Oliver Casey, Helder Costa, Jack Jenkins, Niall Huggins, Pablo Hernandez and Joe Gelhardt all on the bench.
Southampton have Alex McCarthy between the sticks, and given issues at right back, it looks like Jan Bednarek will play in that role tonight.
Mohammed Salisu and Jannik Vestergaard feature at centre back, with Ryan Bertrand on the left whilst Oriol Romeu and James Ward-Prowse sit in midfield.
Youngster Nathan Tella starts alongside Stuart Armstrong in the two attacking midfield roles, supporting Nathan Redmond and Che Adams up top.
Danny Ings is only on the bench, joining Fraser Forster, Kayne Ramsay, Jack Stephens, Alex Jankewitz, Kegs Chauke, Takumi Minamino, Moussa Djenepo and Dan Nlundulu.
