Leeds United will be looking to return to winning ways in the Championship this afternoon. The Whites will take on Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road in a few hours’ time.
Garry Monk’s side will head into the match against Wednesday on the back of a 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town away from home at Portman Road in the league.
The Whites’ form in February has been patchy. Victory over Blackburn Rovers away from home at Ewood Park was followed by successive defeats to Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City.
Leeds then picked up all three points against Bristol City at Elland Road before playing out a 1-1 draw with Ipswich last weekend.
The former Premier League outfit will face fellow promotion-chasing Wednesday at home in the league this afternoon.
The Owls are currently sixth in the standings with 58 points from 33 matches and are one of the favourites for the playoff spots.
Carlos Carvalhal’s side will head into the game against the Whites on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Brentford at the Hillsborough Stadium.
