Leeds United and Middlesbrough will face each other at Elland Road in the Championship this afternoon.

Leeds United will be looking to return to winning ways in the Championship this afternoon when they take on Middlesbrough at home.
The Whites will take on Boro at Elland Road in around an hour’s time and will be determined to pick up all three points from the encounter.
The West Yorkshire outfit are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 23 points from 16 matches.
Meanwhile, Middlesbrough currently find themselves sixth in the standings with 26 points from 16 games.
This is how Leeds and Middlesbrough will line up at Elland Road this afternoon:

Middlesbrough are managed by former Leeds boss Garry Monk, who was in charge of the Whites last season.
Monk has explained the impact he made at Elland Road during his time as the Leeds head coach.
“I can only speak highly of the Leeds fans when I when I was there,” Monk told The Yorkshire Evening Post.
“Taking a club where there was no connection between the team and the fans and putting the foundations there, and them helping in building togetherness and unity – my memories are fantastic.
“Because some people say stuff about you afterwards, it doesn’t deter from the real fans and the proper fans there who gave great support.”

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough legend Bernie Slaven has a theory why Leeds fans are annoyed with Monk, who left his role at the Whites at the end of last season and is now in charge of Championship rivals Boro.
“If Garry Monk is booed by the Leeds fans on Sunday he should take it as a back-handed compliment,” Slaven wrote on GazetteLive. “Had he done a bad job at Elland Road last season they wouldn’t care about him coming back as Boro’s manager.
“If he’d been a flop they wouldn’t be taking about him ahead of the game like they have been. But he didn’t do a bad job and they know it, that’s why they were annoyed when he left in the summer.”
