Leeds United are in action under new manager Paul Heckingbottom for the second time, as they take on Bristol City at Elland Road this afternoon.

Heckingbottom opened with a 2-1 defeat at Sheffield United last weekend, and will be looking to get off the mark with a win in his first home game as Leeds manager.

Felix Wiedwald starts in goal, with Vurnon Anita, Matthew Pennington, Pontus Jansson and Laurens De Bock across the back four, as Liam Cooper and Luke Ayling remain out.

Heckingbottom appears to have gone for a 4-4-2 setup today, with Adam Forshaw and Eunan O’Kane in midfield, and Stuart Dallas as well as Pablo Hernandez featuring out wide.

Caleb Ekuban starts, and he partners Pierre Michel-Lasogga in a rarely-seen front two for Leeds, as Ezgjan Alioski and Kemar Roofe are both on the bench.

Andy Lonergan, Tyler Denton, Ronaldo Vieira, Kalvin Phillips and Hadi Sacko are all named on the bench as well, as Heckingbottom chases a win against his former Barnsley colleague Lee Johnson.

Bristol City enter the game having taken only five points in the last five games, and will be hoping to open up a gap in the play-off places today.

Frank Fielding is in goal, with Bailey Wright, Aiden Flint, Hordur Magnusson and Joe Bryan in defence, whilst Josh Brownhill, Korey Smith, Marlon Pack and Ryan Kent feature across midfield.

Famara Diedhiou and Bobby Reid start in attack, whilst Luke Steele, Lloyd Kelly, Liam Walsh, Niclas Eliasson, Jamie Paterson, Cauley Woodrow and Lois Diony are all on the bench.
