Leeds United and Birmingham City will face each other in the Championship this afternoon.
Leeds United head coach Garry Monk
Leeds United will be looking to pick up their first points of the 2016-17 Championship campaign this afternoon.
The Whites kicked of their season with a 3-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers away from home at Loftus Road in London last weekend.
The West Yorkshire outfit did bounce back, though, as they got the better of Fleetwood Town on penalties in the first round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday evening.
Elland Road
Leeds were hugely disappointing against QPR last weekend, and the Elland Road faithful will expect much more from the team against Birmingham City this afternoon.
The Whites will have home advantage for the match against Birmingham, and Garry Monk’s side should look to make the most of it.
Meanwhile, Birmingham kicked off their 2016-17 Championship campaign with a goalless draw with Cardiff City at home last weekend.
However, on Tuesday evening, the Blues lost 1-0 to Oxford United after extra time at St Andrew’s in the first round of the EFL Cup.
