Leeds United continue their pre-season preparations with a match against Spanish side Eibar this weekend.
The Whites drew 1-1 with Borussia Monchengladbach last time out and have looked good more often than not since manager Thomas Christiansen took charge at Elland Road.
Victories against Harrogate Town, Guiseley and North Ferriby United were a step in the right direction. However it was the performance against Bundesliga opponents last time out that suggested Leeds could be about to mount a serious title challenge next season.
The club have brought in an impressive number of new signings and they will be hoping to impress again this afternoon.
Christiansen now has so many options at his disposal that he could struggle to decide on a first-choice starting XI for the opening say of the new Championship season.
That said, it is a good problem to have and it is up to Leeds’ current crop to make themselves indispensable.
The main problem for Leeds last season was a lack of goal-scoring options when Chris Wood was unavailable, but that has been solved with the addition of Samu Saiz, Ezgjan Alioski and Caleb Ekuban.
The Whites also have far more strength in midfield with Mateusz Klich and Madger Gomes arriving and the future looks bright at Elland Road.
Poland’s Mateusz Klich is now a Leeds player
