Leeds United will be looking to pick up all three points this afternoon when they take on Norwich City at home in the Championship.

The West Yorkshire outfit will head into the match against Norwich at Elland Road in the league on the back of a 3-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.

The Whites are seventh in the Championship table at the moment with 33 points from 21 matches, just four points behind sixth-placed Sheffield United.

Leeds have recovered from their recent slump in form and are playing well at the moment.

Ahead of the match, Leeds legend Eddie Gray said that Kemar Roofe had to start against Norwich.

The 24-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a striker, scored a hat-trick against QPR at Loftus Road last weekend.

The former Leeds and Scotland international winger also praised the performance of Pawel Cibicki after the 23-year-old attacker came on as a substitute against Rangers.

Gray told LUTV about Roofe: “I would be very surprised if he didn’t start upfront against Norwich. I would be surprised.”

“I thought Cibicki played very very well when he came on,” added Gray about Cibicki.

Meanwhile, former Leeds striker Noel Whelan has suggested that there is no reason to recall striker Marcus Antonsson from his loan spell at Blackburn Rovers and told BBC Radio Leeds on Friday: “We have got Kemar Roofe. He (head coach Thomas Christiansen) always uses Grot when he is available and he is back tomorrow, and Lasogga hopefully not too far away.”
