Leeds United will be looking to maintain their good run of form this afternoon when they take on Bolton Wanderers away from home in the Championship.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side will head into the match against Bolton at the University of Bolton Stadium on the back of a 2-1 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Elland Road in the Championship.

The West Yorkshire outfit are second in the league table at the moment with 42 points from 21 matches, just a point behind leaders Norwich City.

Meanwhile, Bolton currently find themselves second from bottom in the Championship table with just 18 points from 21 matches.

The Trotters are in real danger of getting relegated to League One at the end of the season and could struggle against the Whites today.

This is how Leeds will line up against Bolton in the Championship this afternoon:

Leeds United XI: Peacock-Farrell, Douglas, Shackleton, Jansson, Phillips, Baker, Klich, Alioski, Hernandez (c), Forshaw, Roofe

Subs: Huffer, Halme, Clarke, Davis, Roberts, Harrison, Bamford

Meanwhile, Leeds head coach Bielsa has admitted that he will have to adapt to the busy Christmas period.

This is the first time the Bielsa has managed in England where there is no winter break.

Bielsa told Leeds Live regarding no winter break in the Championship: “It’s something new for me because it’s the first time I’ve worked in England and as you say the other leagues don’t actually have a break.

“My only goal is to adapt to the situation. I don’t have any opinion on it because that’s not my job.

“I can’t make any comment on it because I have no experience of games on Boxing Day while others do.”
