Leeds United take on York City in a pre-season friendly this evening.

Leeds United starting line-up: Miazek, Pearce, De Bock, Shackleton, Ideguchi, Vieira, Baker, Klich, Clarke, Stevens, Edmonson.

Leeds United substitutes: Huffer, Rey, Diaz, Dalby.

Leeds United are back in pre-season action this evening as they take on York City at Bootham Crescent, just 48 hours after beating Forest Green Rovers 2-1 in Marcelo Bielsa’s first game.

Kemar Roofe and Luke Ayling grabbed the goals as Leeds claimed a victory, but neither player features tonight as Leeds make the short trip to York for their next friendly.

Bielsa has made a raft of changes, as Polish youngster Kamil Miazek starts in goal, with no place for new signing Jamal Blackman following his move from Chelsea earlier this week.

It appears to be an experimental side, and it’s somewhat unclear just how Leeds are lining up. Just two defenders start, with Tom Pearce and Laurens de Bock in the team, but then five midfielders are in the side too.

Jamie Shackleton, Yosuke Ideguchi, Ronaldo Vieira, Lewis Baker and Mateusz Klich are all starting, whilst winger Jordan Stevens appears to be in attack alongside Jack Clarke and Ryan Edmondson.

Bielsa has named just four substitutes tonight, with Will Huffer, Oriol Rey, Hugo Diaz and striker Sam Dalby on the bench as Leeds fans get another look at life under their new Argentinian manager.
