Leeds United face Blackburn Rovers this evening knowing only a win will be accepted by their increasingly frustrated supporters.

The Whites are still looking for their first home victory of the season, and are coming off a dispiriting 1-0 home loss to in form rivals Hudderfield Town on Saturday.

Fortunately their opponents this evening are a side in even worse shape than they are, Blackburn Rovers.

While Leeds have one win, Blackburn have none, and new manager Owen Coyle is already under pressure.

Here is a look at how Leeds line up for the fixture:

Confirmed XI: Green, Ayling, Jansson, Bartley, Taylor, Bridcutt, O’Kane, Hernandez, Dallas, Sacko, Antonsson

Substitutes: Silvestri, Coyle, Cooper, Phillips, Mowatt, Doukara, Wood

The pressure is on Leeds to get a win this evening, and they will want to avoid a repeat of last season’s corresponding fixture.

They conceded after just 17 seconds, and went onto lose 2-0, in a thoroughly miserable evening, especially for owner Massimo Cellino, who bore the brunt of chants as angry supporters vented their feelings.

A year on, this is their chance to kickstart their season, and a chance for Garry Monk’s side to show what they are capable of.
