Arsenal starting XI: Ramsdale; Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tierney; Partey, Xhaka, Ødegaard; Saka, Martinelli, Lacazette.

Arsenal substitutes: Leno, Holding, Tavares, Swanson, Lokonga, Elneny, Pepe, Smith Rowe, Nketiah.

Liverpool starting XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago; Diaz, Mane, Jota.

Liverpool substitutes: Kelleher, Konate, Keita, Firmino, Salah, Gomez, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones, Minamino.

Arsenal go with Aaron Ramsdale in goal for the visit of Liverpool this evening but Takehiro Tomiyasu isn’t even in the squad.

That means Cedric Soares starts at right back, joining Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes and Kieran Tierney in the Arsenal back line.

Thomas Partey will operate in front of the back four with more freedom for Granit Xhaka to support attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard.

Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are out wide, flanking Alexandre Lacazette up top.

Youngster Zak Swanson makes the bench, joining Bernd Leno, Rob Holding, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Mohamed Elneny, Nicolas Pepe, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah.

Liverpool go with Alisson between the sticks with a familiar back of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson ahead of him.

Fabinho will anchor the midfield with additional support from Thiago Alcantara and Jordan Henderson in the Liverpool engine room.

The big news surrounds Mohamed Salah, as the Liverpool superstar is only on the bench after picking up a knock.

That means Diogo Jota returns to the side, joining Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane in Liverpool’s attack.

Salah is joined by Caoimhin Kelleher, Ibrahima Konate, Naby Keita, Roberto Firmino, Joe Gomez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Curtis Jones and Takumi Minamino.
