Confirmed: Kalvin Phillips decision made as Crystal Palace v Leeds United lineups emerge

Crystal Palace starting XI: Guaita; Clyne, Guehi, Andersen, Ward; McArthur, Gallagher, Eze; Ayew, Mateta, Zaha.

Crystal Palace substitutes: Butland, Tomkins, Kelly, Schlupp, Hughes, Kouyate, Olise, Edouard, Benteke.

Leeds United starting XI: Meslier; Ayling, Llorente, Cooper, Dallas; Phillips, Klich, Raphinha, Rodrigo, Harrison; James.

Leeds United substitutes: Klaesson, Firpo, Koch, Struijk, Cresswell, Kenneh, Bate, Greenwood, Gelhardt.

Crystal Palace go with Vicente Guaita in goal as they host Leeds United at Selhurst Park this evening.

Marc Guehi and Joachim Andersen continue at centre back, with Nathaniel Clyne and Joel Ward at right back and left back respectively.

Eberechi Eze is deployed in a midfield role tonight, joining James McArthur and Conor Gallagher in the engine room.

Jean-Philippe Mateta leads the line for Palace tonight with support from Wilfried Zaha and Jordan Ayew.

Cheikhou Kouyate only makes the Palace bench tonight, joining Jack Butland, James Tomkins, Martin Kelly, Jeffrey Schlupp, Will Hughes, Michael Olise, Odsonne Edouard and Christian Benteke.

The big news for Leeds United is that Kalvin Phillips starts in midfield.

Phillips will be relied upon to protect the back four of Luke Ayling, Diego Llorente, Liam Cooper and Joel Ward from right to left.

They operate in front of goalkeeper Illan Meslier whilst Mateusz Klich joins Phillips in midfield.

Daniel James starts in the Leeds attack tonight, with Raphinha, Rodrigo and Jack Harrison working behind him.

Junior Firpo makes it onto the Leeds bench tonight, joining Kristoffer Klaesson, Robin Koch, Pascal Struijk, Charlie Cresswell, Nohan Kenneh, Lewis Bate, Sam Greenwood and Joe Gelhardt.
