The surprise at the back is Ibrahima Konate alongside Virgil van Dijk, with the Frenchman getting the nod over Joel Matip.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson are the full backs for Liverpool tonight, with Fabinho protecting the back four.

Thiago joins the Brazilian in midfield, whilst Harvey Elliott is given a surprise start on the right of Liverpool’s midfield three.

Diogo Jota returns to the starting lineup having been on the bench against Burnley, joining Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in attack.

That means Luis Diaz is only on the bench and Roberto Firmino is a substitute after starting against Burnley.

Diaz and Firmino are joined by fellow substitutes Caoimhin Kelleher, James Milner, Naby Keita, Joe Gomez, Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Takumi Minamino, Kostas Tsimikas, Divcok Origi and Joel Matip.
