Liverpool substitutes: Adrian, Davies, Gomez, Milner, Firmino, Nunez, Carvalho, Arthur, Bajcetic, Phillips.

Liverpool are back in action this evening as they host Ajax in the Champions League.

The Reds were humiliated in the Champions League last week as Napoli ran riot with a 4-1 victory.

Liverpool have looked out of sorts this season and really have to come up with a response against Ajax tonight.

Jurgen Klopp goes with Alisson in goal as usual, but Joel Matip comes in for Joe Gomez at the back.

Matip partners Virgil van Dijk at the back with Trent Alexander-Arnold continuing at right back.

Andrew Robertson is out through injury, meaning Kostas Tsimikas comes into the Liverpool side tonight.

Fabinho features in holding midfield with Thiago Alcantara returning to the side, joining Fabinho and Harvey Elliott in midfield.

Diogo Jota is given the not to lead the line, starting up top ahead of Roberto Firmino and Darwin Nunez.

Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz feature out wide as usual, keeping their places from that Napoli horror show.

Nunez and Firmino are only substitutes tonight, giving Klopp some options to change it from the bench.

Adrian San Miguel, Harvey Davies, Joe Gomez, James Milner, Fabio Carvalho, Arthur Melo, Stefan Bajcetic and Nat Phillips join Nunez and Firmino on the bench.
