Rangers host Liverpool in the Champions League tonight as they look to avenge last week’s defeat at Anfield.

The Gers will hope for better fortunes at Ibrox tonight and Giovanni van Bronckhorst seems to have gone with a more attacking setup today.

It’s a back four for Rangers tonight rather than the five that started at Anfield last week.

James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Ben Davies and Borna Barisic line up across the back four for Rangers.

It’s a workmanlike midfield trio for Rangers tonight as Ryan Jack, John Lundstram and Scott Arfield all start.

Antonio Colak is given the nod in attack with Fashion Sakala and former Liverpool wide man Ryan Kent on the flanks.

That means Alfredo Morelos is only on the bench, joining Jon McLaughlin, Ridvan Yilmaz, Steven Davis, Rabbi Matondo, James Sands, Scott Wright, Robby McCrorie, Leon King, Adam Devine and Malik Tillman.

Liverpool are desperately seeking form but stick with Alisson Becker in goal.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joel Matip are both out through injury, meaning Joe Gomez and Ibrahima Konate join Virgil van Dijk and Kostas Tsimikas in the back four.

Fabinho comes into the side, joining Jordan Henderson in midfield.

It then looks like Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho on the flanks with Roberto Firmino behind Darwin Nunez in attack.

That means Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota drop to the bench for Liverpool tonight, joining Adrian, Caoimhin Kelleher, Thiago Alcantara, James Milner, Andrew Robertson, Stefan Bajcetic and Nat Phillips.
