Chelsea starting XI: Mendy; Chalobah, Thiago Silva, Rudiger; Azpilicueta, Kante, Kovacic, Alonso; Mount, Havertz, Pulisic.

Chelsea substitutes: Arrizabalaga, James, Sarr, Jorginho, Loftus-Cheek, Saul, Hudson-Odoi, Lukaku, Werner.

Liverpool starting XI: Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Thiago, Henderson; Salah, Diaz, Mane.

Liverpool substitutes: Alisson, Konate, Milner, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Minamino, Jota, Tsimikas, Origi.

Chelsea go with Edouard Mendy in goal as they take on Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final this afternoon.

It’s a back three in front of Monday as Trevoh Chalobah, Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger all start.

Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso are the wing backs for Chelsea, with N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic in midfield.

It appears to be a fluid front three for Chelsea today, with Mason Mount, Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic in the final third.

That means Romelu Lukaku is only on the bench, joining Kepa Arrizabalaga, Reece James, Malang Sarr, Jorginho, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Saul Niguez, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has kept faith with cup goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, giving him the start over Alisson.

It’s a familiar back four for Liverpool today, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson.

Fabinho, Thiago Alcantara and Jordan Henderson start in midfield, with Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in attack.

Diogo Jota is fit enough for the bench, joining Alisson, Ibrahima Konate, James Milner, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Takumi Minamino, Kostas Tsimikas and Divock Origi.
