Hull City host Aston Villa in a midweek Premier League clash.
Hull City host Aston Villa aiming to build on an impressive draw with title chasers Manchester City.
The Tigers have struggled for form this season, currently sitting in 18th place in the relegation zone.
A win here would however allow them to leapfrog opponents Aston Villa who sit just two points above them.
The bad news is Hull’s home form is the worst in the Premier League, winning just twice, and picking up only nine points at the KC Stadium.
Aston Villa’s away form is not likely to frighten them though, with Paul Lambert’s side picking up only 11 points on their travels, and losing their last four games on the road in succession.
They broke their goal drought at the weekend by scoring against Chelsea, but lost the game 2-1.
Villa have scored only four goals away from home all season, conceding 17. Both managers are under pressure due to the poor form of their sides and the game has a ‘six-pointer’ feel to it.
