This weekend’s Premier League action kicks off with Chelsea attempting to climb above Manchester City and Arsenal and claim top spot…for at least 24 hours. But Steve Bruce’s Hull City will not be easy pickings at a ground where they have lost just two league games all season.
These two sides faced each other on the opening weekend and gave a glimpse of what was to come for both – Chelsea doing enough to take all three points while the Tigers’ second-half performance showed there was plenty of fight for the campaign ahead.
Fans hoping for a repeat of the score-line when the Tigers last played at home may be left disappointed. But while a 6-0 win for the hosts is unlikely, the Blues will have to be near their best to take anything from the game.
That said, Hull have only beaten Chelsea on four previous occasions, while the Blues have one four of their last five league matches.
What do you think the result will be this afternoon?
