Rangers will be looking to maintain their good run of form this evening when they take on St Johnstone away from home in the Scottish Premiership.

The Ibrox club will head into the match at McDiarmid Park in Perth on the back of a 2-0 victory over Heart of Midlothian at Ibrox in the league.

The Gers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 55 points from 28 matches, nine points behind leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic.

Graeme Murty’s side are also three points clear of third-placed Aberdeen and are aiming to finish second in the standings this season.

Rangers are in good form at the moment and will fancy their chances of picking up all three points from the encounter.

Meanwhile, Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has spoken highly of his teammate and winger Jamie Murphy, who joined the Gers on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League in England in the January transfer window.

Foderingham told The Scottish Sun: “Jamie Murphy has made a big difference to us since he has come in. I’ve always liked him as a player.

“I played against him a lot in League One and he was always fantastic. He’s an all-round decent footballer. He has that ability to go past people with ease.”
