Tottenham Hotspur travel to take on Fulham in this afternoon’s FA Cup clash…
Spurs lost 2-0 to Liverpool and 1-0 to Gent in their last two games, and have remarkably scored just one goal in their last four games – and even that was a penalty against Middlesbrough.
Tottenham look out of sorts right now, and manager Mauricio Pochettino has gone with a strong side to take on Championship outfit Fulham this afternoon.
Michel Vorm replaces Hugo Lloris in goal, but Jan Vertonghen returns at centre back to partner Toby Alderweireld, with Kieran Trippier and Ben Davies in the full back positions.
Harry Winks is handed a start alongside Victor Wanyama in midfield, with Heung-min Son, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen supporting Harry Kane in attack.
Vincent Janssen is back on the bench having been left out of the squad to take on Gent n Thursday, and he joins fellow substitutes Pau Lopez, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kevin Wimmer, Mousa Dembele, Joshua Onomah and Moussa Sissoko.
Meanwhile, hosts Fulham are going well in the Championship under Slavisa Jokanovic, hovering outside the play-off places, and have already dumped Cardiff City and Hull City out of this year’s FA Cup.
Jokanovic has named a familiar back four, led by Chelsea loanee Tomas Kalas, with Scott Malone, Tim Ream and Denis Odoi all in front of goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli.
Kevin McDonald is an experienced head in midfield, and he should allow the likes of Floyd Ayite, Tom Cairney, Stefan Johansen and Neeskens Kebano to get forward and support pacey attacker Sone Aluko.
Former Tottenham ace Scott Parker and current Spurs target Ryan Sessegnon are both on the bench for Fulham today, alongside ex-Tottenham youngster David Button as well as Michael Madl, Chris Martin, Cyriac Gohi Bi and Chelsea loanee Lucas Piazon.
