Fulham take on Reading in the first leg of their play off semi-final.
Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic gestures
Fulham will be heading into the first leg of their play off sem-final with a lot of momentum after their recent 1-2 win against Sheffield Wednesday; a side who also finished in the play offs. Slavisa Jokanovic’s side have been playing some of the most attractive football in the Championship this season.
Their full-frontal, attacking style of play will be giving Fulham fans a lot of hope that this is the season that the former Europa League finalists will make it back into the Premier League. Former Watford manager Jokanovic has done an excellent job of revitalising his side since joining the Cottagers.
Reading have surprised many this season with just how good they’ve been under new manager Jaap Stam. Organised, disciplined and defensively sound, Reading will be looking to frustrate the Cottagers at their home ground.
Finishing the season in third, Reading are also going into the play offs in good form. In their last game, the Royals beat Nigel Clough’s Burton Albion 2-4, thanks to goals from Mendes, Obita, Kermogant and Grabban. Will the experience in their side get them over the line, and off to Wembley?
