Everton take on Yeovil Town in the EFL Cup tonight.
Everton will be expecting to make it through to the next round of the EFL Cup as they take on League Two side Yeovil Town at Goodison Park this evening.
The Toffees claimed their first win of the new Premier League season on Saturday afternoon, beating West Bromwich Albion 2-1 – and Ronald Koeman will now be looking for cup success tonight.
The big team news is that new signings Ashley Williams and Yannick Bolasie make their full debuts having come on as substitutes against West Brom, with the Everton fans no doubt keen to see them in action.
There are also starts for the likes of Ramiro Funes Mori, Bryan Oviedo, Aaron Lennon and James McCarthy, who all have a chance to impress tonight.
Koeman has a strong bench with the likes of Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka, Arouna Kone, Tom Cleverley and Kevin Mirallas all available, alongside Joel Robles and Darron Gibson.
Meanwhile, opponents Yeovil will be looking to bounce back having lost their last two games 1-0, to Mansfield Town and then to Morecambe on Saturday.
The Glovers knocked out Walsall in the last round, but haven’t won their last three games since that victory and are massive underdogs tonight.
Everton will have to cope with the physical prowess of former Bolton striker Tom Eaves, whilst West Bromwich Albion loanee Tahvon Campbell is on the bench and could be called upon to make an impact tonight.
