Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Liverpool with victory over Everton today.

Spurs will be determined to pick up all three points from their Premier League game against Everton away from home at Goodison Park.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will head into the match on the back of a 2-1 loss at the hands of Liverpool away from home at Anfield in the league.

Tottenham are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 12 points from 10 matches.

Meanwhile, Everton currently find themselves 17th in the league table with 10 points from as many games.

The Toffees are just two points above the relegation zone and have to start winning games on a consistent basis in order to climb up the table.

This is how Everton and Tottenham will line up at Goodison Park this afternoon:

Meanwhile, Tottenham defender Ben Davies has given his take on the current situation of Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka.

Xhaka recently stated on Instagram the extent of abuse he has suffered at matches and on social media.

Davies told The Mirror: “Across football, nobody wants to see players getting booed. I can understand if these things happen, it’s part and parcel of the game. But as far as someone like Xhaka is concerned, when you read he is struggling or maybe needed counselling, nobody wants to see that. Rivalries aside, if we could help him out we would.”
