Everton host Liverpool this evening.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman
Everton take on Liverpool this evening aiming to bounce back from a hammering by their rivals earlier this year.
The Reds won the last Merseyside derby 4-0 at Anfield, but Everton hope home advantage this time can turn the tables on Jurgen Klopp, or at least spare similar embarrassment.
Everton have changed managers since then, appointing Ronald Koeman in place of Roberto Martinez, and have had a largely positive start to 2016/17.
The Toffees are in ninth place in the Premier League table, but can climb up to seventh place with a win this evening.
This will leave them eight points behind rivals Liverpool, but a Reds win would extend the 11 points gap between the clubs to 14.
Liverpool need a victory to keep the pressure on relentless Chelsea, who are presently six points clear at the top of the table.
