This is how Everton and Leicester City will line up for today’s Premier League clash at Goodison Park…
Everton will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League this afternoon when they take on Leicester City at home.
The Toffees suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the league last weekend, but they bounced back in style on Thursday.
Roberto Martinez’s side virtually secured their place in the Europa League last 16 when they hammered BSC Young Boys 4-1 away from home in the first leg of the round-of-32 tie.
Everton will be keen on building on that victory by picking up all three points against struggling Leicester at Goodison Park this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Leicester will head into today’s encounter on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa away from home in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
However, in the Premier League, the Foxes have lost their last four games and are currently at the foot of the table.
It promises to be an interesting game at the Goodison, and this is how Everton and Leicester will line up:
Everton XI: Howard, Baines, Jagielka (c), Stones, Coleman, McCarthy, Besic, Barkley, Naismith, Lennon, Lukaku
Subs: Joel, Gibson, Kone, Mirallas, Atsu, Garbutt, Alcaraz
Leicester City XI: Schwarzer, Konchesky, Morgan (c), Upson, James, Huth, Schlupp, Simpson, Cambiasso, Mahrez, Kramaric
Subs: Hamer, Vardy, King, Hamer, Ulloa, Wasilewski, Nugent
