Everton take on Arsenal in the Premier League this afternoon.

Everton are searching for just a third Premier League win of the season this afternoon when they take on Arsenal at the Premier League.

The Toffees have lost four of their first eight games this term, and were also beaten 2-1 by Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Manager Ronald Koeman is under pressure to pick up results, and he has reverted to a back three, with Ashley Williams, Michael Keane and Phil Jagielka featuring at centre back in front of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

Idrissa Gueye and Gylfi Sigurdsson start in midfield, with Jonjoe Kenny and Leighton Baines in the wing back spots, whilst Koeman has gone with a front three of Nikola Vlasic, Wayne Rooney and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

That means that Oumar Niasse is only on the bench, alongside Joel Robles, Cuco Martina, Davy Klaassen, Tom Davies, Kevin Mirallas and Ademola Lookman.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are searching for a first away league win of the season when they travel to Merseyside this afternoon, having taken just one point from their first four away games.

The Gunners beat Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League on Thursday night thanks to Olivier Giroud’s winner, but the Frenchman is only on the bench tonight.

Petr Cech starts in goal, with Wenger also going with a back three, consisting of Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker and Nacho Monreal, with Hector Bellerin and Sead Kolasinac at wing back.

Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka start in midfield, whilst Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil will support lone striker Alexandre Lacazette in attack.

Giroud is joined on the bench by goalkeeper Matt Macey, as well as Rob Holding, Francis Coquelin, Alex Iwobi, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere.
