Everton starting line-up: Baines, Walcott, Tosun, Schneiderlin, Coleman, Virginia, Pennington.
Everton are back in action this evening as they take on Championship side Rotherham United in the second round of the Carabao Cup at Goodison Park.
The Toffees drew 2-2 with Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon, and had a man sent off for the second time in Marco Silva’s three games, meaning they will be hoping to keep all 11 men on the pitch tonight.
Everton are widely expected to ease past Rotherham tonight, and boss Silva has decided to rotate his side in order to give fringe players a chance in the first team.
Maarten Stekelenburg comes into the side in place of Jordan Pickford, whilst Jonjoe Kenny and Mason Holgate join new signings Kurt Zouma and Lucas Digne in the back four.
Tom Davies and Gylfi Sigurdsson keep their places in the Everton midfield and are joined by playmaker Kieran Dowell, in what appears to be an attack-minded midfield trio.
That leaves Oumar Niasse in attack, with support from Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Sandro Ramirez, with Sandro a hugely surprising inclusion given major rumours about his future.
New signing Joao Virginia is on the bench as the backup goalkeeper, as well as Matthew Pennington, Seamus Coleman, Leighton Baines, Morgan Schneiderlin, Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun.
