Everton continue their pre-season preparations with a friendly match against Scottish side Hearts this weekend.
The Toffees have two matches in Scotland in quick succession, with this clash followed by a match against Dundee on Tuesday, and Everton manager Roberto Martinez will be looking for back-to-back wins after seeing his side lose the Asia Trophy final to Arsenal last week.
Everton began their pre-season with a comfortable 4-0 victory against Swindon Town but since then they have drawn 0-0 with Stoke City (before triumphing on penalties) and lost 3-1 to Arsenal.
After their Scottish double-header they then take on Leeds United before a match against Villarreal ends their summer.
Everton have signed three players so far in this transfer window in the form of Gerard Deulofeu, Tom Cleverley and David Henen and with a couple more additions they could push on and have a very successful year.
