Everton travel to take on League Two side Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup this evening, just months after beating the Imps 2-1 in the FA Cup at Goodison Park.
Now a League One side, this will be a serious test for Everton tonight, and Marco Silva seemingly knows that having named a very strong line-up tonight.
Jordan Pickford starts in goal this evening, with Djibril Sidibe and Lucas Digne lining up as the full backs, either side of centre back pairing Michael Keane and Mason Holgate.
Morgan Schneiderlin features in midfield alongside summer addition Fabian Delph, who returns from injury, whilst Alex Iwobi is handed a first start on the left flank.
Gylfi Sigurdsson will play as the number 10 with Richarlison on the right, whilst Moise Kean is also handed his first start after a couple of promising cameo displays.
Andre Gomes is on the bench after a dismal showing at Aston Villa on Friday night, whilst Yerry Mina and Dominic Calvert-Lewin both drop to the bench too.
They’re joined by fellow substitutes Maarten Stekelenburg – meaning summer signing Jonas Lossl is surprisingly not involved at all – Leighton Baines, Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun.
