Here is how Everton and Watford will line up this weekend:

Everton welcome Watford to Goodison Park this afternoon for their latest Premier League clash and the Toffees are desperate for all three points.

David Unsworth remains in temporary charge, but given his record so far it seems highly unlikely that he will be given the job on a permanent basis.

Whatever the future holds he will be keen to get three points on the board this afternoon to ensure he gives his former team a chance of kicking on in the weeks ahead.

Everton are currently 19th in the table with just eight points from a possible 30 and that is simply woeful form for a side that spent so much money over the summer.

In contrast Watford are enjoying an impressive season and are ninth as things stand, just four points off the top four heading into this clash.

As a result the Hornets may be many people’s favourites to take all three points from a game Everton are not lose.

The problem for the hosts is that they are simply not performing anywhere near as well as they should and it is down to their experienced players to lead from the front, not disappear when the going gets tough.
