England are back in action this evening as they take on Italy at Wembley Stadium, just days after a 1-0 win over the Netherlands in Amsterdam.
The Three Lions are attempting to prepare for the World Cup in Russia this summer, and manager Gareth Southgate will be using this international break to try and sketch out his squad for this summer’s major tournament.
After going with Everton’s Jordan Pickford in goal against the Netherlands, Stoke City’s Jack Butland comes in tonight, whilst Kieran Trippier continues at right wing back, with Kyle Walker at centre back once again.
John Stones, James Tarkowski and Ashley Young join them in the back five, whilst Tottenham ace Eric Dier will feature alongside Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the heart of the England midfield.
Jamie Vardy leads the line tonight, and will be flanked by Raheem Sterling and Friday’s matchwinner Jesse Lingard in a dangerous front three.
That means that the likes of Pickford, Danny Rose, Jordan Henderson, Harry Maguire, Dele Alli and Marcus Rashford all drop to the bench, and are joined by fellow substitutes Joe Hart, Alfie Mawson, Jake Livermore, Adam Lallana, Lewis Cook, Nick Pope and Danny Welbeck.
