Dundee host Celtic in the Scottish League Cup this evening.

Celtic travel to Dens Park to take on Dundee in the Scottish League Cup this evening, as they look to build on their 4-0 weekend win over Ross County.

Brendan Rodgers’ men have an Old Firm derby to prepare for this weekend, but first up it’s a tricky cup tie at Dundee, which they will be expecting to win.

Craig Gordon keeps his place in goal, whilst Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata, Nir Bitton and Kieran Tierney start across the back four.

Scott Brown and Olivier Ntcham start in midfield, whilst James Forrest, Patrick Roberts and Scott Sinclair will support lone striker Leigh Griffiths, with Moussa Dembele out.

Deadline day signing Odsonne Edouard is only on the bench, alongside Dorus de Vries, Tom Rogic, Stuart Armstrong, Jonny Hayes, Callum McGregor and Anthony Ralston.

Meanwhile, Dundee have picked up just four points from six league games this season, and will be looking for a strong result to kickstart their season.

Former Celtic target Scott Bain starts in goal, whilst Cammy Kerr, Jack Hendry, ex-Celtic defender Darren O’Dea and Kevin Holt start across the back four.

Glen Kamara, Mark O’Hara, Randy Wolters and Lewis Spence will play across midfield, with AJ Leitch-Smith supporting Faissal El Bakhtaoui in attack.

Ex-Athletic Bilbao defender Jon Aurtenetxe and former Arsenal youngster Roarie Deacon are among the substitutes tonight, as Dundee chase a shock victory.
