Here is how Derby County and Birmingham City will line up for this afternoon’s Championship clash:
Derby County starting XI: Grant, Christie, Keogh, Albentosa, Forsyth, Mascarell, Hendrick, Hughes, Ince, Ward, Russell
Derby County subs: Roos, Bryson, Buxton, Dawkins, Lingard, Thomas, Shotton
Birmingham City starting XI: Randolph, Caddis, Spector, Kiernan, Grounds, Tesche, Davis, Cotterill, Shinnie, Dyer, Novak
Birmingham City subs: Doyle, Robinson, Donaldson, Thomas, Reilly, Zigic, Gray
Derby County welcome Birmingham City to the iPro Stadium this afternoon with the Rams pushing hard for automatic promotion and City in with a good chance of a top-10 finish.
Steve McLaren’s side won the reverse fixture 4-0 on Boxing Day and that is not a result Birmingham will want to see repeated.
The visitors are on a fine mini-run having won their last two matches; that said, Blues have not won any of their last five away matches and Derby will be hoping to capitalise on that.
The hosts are just a single point behind Middlesbrough and Bournemouth and they have a game in hand over the latter, to they will know just how important this afternoon’s fixture could be in the grand scheme of things.
