West Ham United starting XI: Areola; Coufal, Johnson, Ogbonna, Ashby; Coventry, Soucek; Bowen, Lanzini, Cornet; Scamacca.

West Ham United substitutes: Trott, Randolph, Zouma, Kehrer, Baptiste, Chesters, Ekwah, Fornals, Downes, Okoflex, Benrahma, Antonio.

West Ham United are in action this evening as they host Danish side Viborg in the Europa Conference League qualifiers.

The Hammers have started their Premier League campaign with two defeats and are in need of a boost tonight.

A home game against Viborg seems like an ideal chance to get the season kickstarted.

Alphonse Areola starts in goal for West Ham tonight, deputising for veteran stopper Lukasz Fabianski between the sticks.

Angelo Ogbonna and Ben Johnson feature as the centre backs for West Ham tonight with Vladimir Coufal and Harrison Ashby in the full back positions.

There is no Declan Rice tonight so Tomas Soucek and Conor Coventry feature in the heart of midfield.

There is a start for new arrival Maxwel Cornet, who will seemingly line up on the left flank with Jarrod Bowen over on the right side.

Manuel Lanzini will then be the number 10, working behind new signing Gianluca Scamacca in his first start for the club.

West Ham signed Thilo Kehrer on Wednesday but he is only on the bench for David Moyes’ side tonight.

Nathan Trott, Darren Randolph, Kurt Zouma, Jamal Baptiste, Daniel Chesters, Pierre Ekwah, Pablo Fornals, Flynn Downes, Armstrong Okoflex, Said Benrahma and Michail Antonio.
