Chelsea take on Watford in Premier League action.

Chelsea will be looking to continue their outstanding league form against Watford on Monday night. The Blues came away 1-2 winners when the two sides met each other in August of last year, with both sides going on to have extremely contrasting fortunes since then.

Two Italian managers that took over their new clubs in the summer; both Antonio Conte and Walter Mazzarri had points to prove at the beginning of the season. After taking over a Chelsea squad that let down previous manager Jose Mourinho, Antonio Conte has transformed the Blues into the best side in the Premier League, and fans will be eager to see how they get on in the Champions League next season.

Walter Mazzarri’s future beyond the season may be in doubt, but the Hornets will still be keen to end the campaign as strongly as possibly. Since taking over in the summer, former Italian manager Mazzarri has struggled to propel the Hornets up the table, despite a promising start to the season.

In what could be a very defensive display, Watford are expected to try and control Chelsea’s attacking players, in order to minimise any damage they might inflict.
