Tottenham Hotspur travel to take on Chelsea this evening…
Chelsea starting XI: Caballero; Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso; Jorginho, Kante, Kovacic; Pedro, Higuain, Hazard.
Chelsea substitutes: Arrizabalaga, Christensen, Barkley, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi, Willian, Giroud.
Tottenham Hotspur starting XI: Lloris; Trippier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Davies; Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Lamela; Son, Kane.
Tottenham Hotspur substitutes: Gazzaniga, Aurier, Rose, Foyth, Wanyama, Lucas, Llorente.
Chelsea head into the game having lost Sunday’s Carabao Cup final on penalties, and the extraordinary scenes involving Kepa Arrizabalaga have led to the Spaniard being dropped for tonight’s game.
In comes Willy Caballero between the sticks, with the Argentinian operating behind a back four of Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz and Marcos Alonso, who returns in place of Emerson.
Jorginho will sit in midfield alongside N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic, with Gonzalo Higuain spearheading the attack whilst receiving support from Eden Hazard and Pedro.
Kepa is on the bench, alongside Andreas Christensen, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi, William and Olivier Giroud.
Meanwhile, Spurs go with Hugo Lloris in goal behind a back four of Kieran Trippier, Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Ben Davies, with Alderweireld the only one of the back four who played at Burnley on Saturday.
It appears to be a diamond in midfield, with Harry Winks at the base with support from Moussa Sissoko and Christian Eriksen, whilst Erik Lamela starts behind Son Heung-min and Harry Kane.
Fernando Llorente is on the bench tonight, alongside Paulo Gazzaniga, Serge Aurier, Danny Rose, Juan Foyth, Victor Wanyama and Lucas Moura, with no sign of Jan Vertonghen.
