Chelsea take on Sunderland in Premier League action.

Chelsea manager Antonio ConteChelsea manager Antonio Conte

The Premier League champions will be keen to finish the season in a similar fashion to the one which has carried them through this campaign. The Blues have come out as worthy winners this year, after having their playing style transformed by new boss, Antonio Conte.

After a late victory in against West Bromwich Albion, Chelsea have made it four wins from their last four games, and take all of the form into their upcoming fixture with Sunderland. Facing a side who have had entirely opposite fortunes to them this season; we’re not expecting to see Antonio Conte’s side let up at all on their final home game of the season.

David Moyes and Sunderland supporters will likely be willing for the final whistle from the first minute this weekend, as they look to close the curtain on an utterly disappointing Premier League campaign. After flirting with relegation for a number of years, the Black Cats have finally taken the drop, and will finish the season bottom, no matter the result.

With Championship football awaiting them next season, David Moyes will likely field a line-up of younger players, and those who are more likely to feature in his Sunderland side next season. The final game of the season could also spell the end for players such as Jermain Defoe and Jordan Pickford, who are expecting to stay in the Premier League next season with new clubs.
