Chelsea’s under-19s will be extremely confident as they get their UEFA Youth League campaign underway against FC Schalke this lunchtime.
The Blues will field a mixture of youngsters from the under-21 and under-18 sides, as they look to improve upon their efforts in this tournament from last season.
The Blues were arguably the best English side in the tournament last season and the under-21 team’s brilliant start to the domestic campaign should give some players on show confidence heading into the match.
The under-21 side have an unbeaten start to the season from all games played while the under-18 side are just two points off of London rivals Arsenal.
