Here is the Chelsea side to take on Maribor in the UEFA Youth League.
Chelsea under-19s: Thompson, Tomori, Aina, Christensen, Clarke-Salter, Colkett, Loftus-Cheek, Musonda, Brown (c), Dasilva, Solanke
Subs: Baxter, Abraham, Scott, Wakefield, Kiwomya, Ali, Christie-Davies
Chelsea were comfortable winners against Maribor last time out in the UEFA Youth League with a 2-0 win and they’ll be looking to back that up again today with another three points.
This is a great chance for the young Blues to impress first team boss Jose Mourinho, who has recently said he’s going to look at giving more home grown talent at the club a chance in his first team.
The Blues are one of the only sides who have been perfect in the competition so far with three wins from three games, 11 goals scored and just one conceded, which puts them in great form ahead of their final group games and the last 16 round.
Chelsea have been one of the best sides in the under-18 and under-21 divisions domestically, which means there will be confidence running throughout this side, which should help produce a positive performance.
