Chelsea take on Thailand All-Stars this weekend in a post-season friendly match, with Jose Mourinho’s side having a little while before they can put their feet up after a tough campaign.
Chelsea were crowned Premier League champions after an impressive season under their Portuguese manager, and they will now take on some of Thailand’s top stars in a match at the Rajamangala National Stadium on Saturday.
Even after today’s clash there is more football to be played, with Chelsea then flying to Australia to take on Sydney FC in a friendly on Tuesday.
After that Chelsea’s players can rest for a while, before the challenges start all over again in a campaign when they will be hoping to add European success to domestic glory.
This brief post-season tour will also allow those players whose futures are uncertain a few more chances to impress Mourinho, while it will also see young players given another opportunity to shine.
