Neil Lennon’s Celtic and Steven Gerrard’s Rangers will face each other at Celtic Park in the first Old Firm derby of the season this afternoon.
There will be no fans inside the stadium for the Scottish Premiership game, but the match between Celtic and Rangers should still be a very exciting and entertaining affair.
The Hoops will head into the game in good form and got the better of St. Johnstone 2-0 away from home in the Scottish Premiership before the international break.
Lennon’s team are second in the league table at the moment with 25 points from nine matches, a point behind leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Rangers, who have played 26 times.
Gerrard’s side won 2-0 against Ross County at Ibrox in the league before the two-week international break.
Both Celtic and Rangers have been superb so far this season. The Gers have scored as many as 24 goals and have conceded only three, while the Bhoys have scored 25 goals and have conceded five times.
