Celtic host Bayern Munich in the Champions League this evening…
Celtic are back in Champions League action tonight, as they host Bayern Munich at Celtic Park after suffering a 3-0 defeat against the German giants just two weeks ago.
The Bhoys will still hope to produce a shock tonight, having only managed to draw 1-1 with Kilmarnock over the weekend.
Craig Gordon starts in goal as usual, with Brendan Rodgers going for a back four of Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata, Nir Bitton and Kieran Tierney, who signed a new six-year contract on Monday.
Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and Stuart Armstrong make up an all-Scottish midfield trio, whilst Scott Sinclair and James Forrest will support striker Moussa Dembele.
Dembele’s start means that Leigh Griffiths has been dropped to the bench, and is joined by fellow substitutes Cristian Gamboa, Dorus de Vries, Jonny Hayes, Kristoffer Ajer, Olivier Ntcham and Tom Rogic.
Opponents Bayern are still without goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, meaning Sven Ulreich starts in goal again, whilst Rafinha, Niklas Sule, Jerome Boateng and David Alaba make up the back four.
Javi Martinez is joined in midfield by Arturo Vidal and Corentin Tolisso, with James Rodriguez featuring in attack with Arjen Robben and Kingsley Coman.
Mats Hummels, Joshua Kimmich and Thiago Alcantara are only on the bench, alongside Tom Starke, Manuel Wintzheimer, Marco Friedl and Sebastian Rudy.
