Celtic starting XI: Hart; Ralston, Welsh, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, Turnbull; Forrest, Rogic, Kyogo; Edouard.

Celtic substitutes: Bain, Bitton, Griffiths, Ajeti, Soro, Shaw, McCarthy, Urhoghide, Montgomery.

Celtic are in Scottish League Cup action today as they host Hearts, already seeking revenge on Robbie Neilson’s side.

The Bhoys lost to Hearts in their first league game of this season, and Ange Postecoglou will hope to beat them this time around.

Postecoglou has gone with Joe Hart in goal today, preferring him to Scott Bain and apparent outcast Vasilis Barkas.

Anthony Ralston continues at right back today, with Greg Taylor on the left; we may yet see additions in both of those areas before the transfer window ends.

Carl Starfelt and Stephen Welsh feature at centre back, another area where Celtic could strengthen in the coming weeks.

Callum McGregor captains the side and joins David Turnbull in central midfield, whilst Tom Rogic will play as the number 10.

It looks like Kyogo Furuhashi will start on the left flank with James Forrest on the right, whilst Odsonne Edouard leads the line.

Summer signings Liam Shaw, James McCarthy and Osaze Urhoghide are all on the Celtic bench this afternoon.

They’re joined by Nir Bitton, Leigh Griffiths, Albian Ajeti, Ismaila Soro and Adam Montgomery as well as goalkeeper Bain.
