Meanwhile, Celtic central midfielder Scott Brown has revealed that Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is still in touch with him and some of his teammates.
Rodgers left his managerial role at the Hoops in February 2019 to become the manager of Leicester in the Premier League.
The former Liverpool boss guided Celtic to two successive domestic trebles and the Scottish League Cup this season.
Former Scotland international central midfielder Brown – who has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £4.4 million – has revealed that Rodgers is still in touch with him.
Brown told The Scottish Sun: “Brendan is always texting me before games and he is always texting after games. He is still taking a real interest in Celtic.
“He loves the club inside and out and a lot of the lads are still speaking to him. He takes time to speak to us still.”
